As of the Legion expansion, it has become easier to acquire the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera. Your journey will begin in the capital city of either the Horde or the Alliance. Before long, you’ll be set to become an expert Birdwatcher, title and all. It's perfect for those players that enjoy roleplaying and customising their character.
Where To Get The S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera
Begin with heading to your faction’s capital city, Stormwind for the alliance, and Orgrimmar for the horde. In each city, you’ll need to locate a quest-giver. For the alliance, you’ll need to find a female gnome named Arielle Snapflash. You can find her beside the lake, close to the embassy. For the horde, you’ll need to find Vivica Starshot, a female goblin on the boardwalk within the Valley of Spirits district.
Both of these photographers will give you the questLight Camera Action. This requires you to locate a few items. Those are:
- Iron Box
- Standard Scope
- Russet Belt.
The quest will point you in the right direction of where to find these items, and once you do, you can hand the quest in. You’ll be rewarded with the base version of the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera.
How To Upgrade The S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera
To upgrade your S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera, you’ll have to complete another quest for Vivica Starshot or Arielle Snapflash. This quest is called Crystal Clarity. To complete the quest, head over to Stranglethorn Vale, south of Stormwind.
You can catch a zeppelin ride from Orgrimmar straight to Stranglethorn Vale.
You’ll need to venture to Yojamba Isle, a tiny island to the west of the Ruins of Zul’kunda. Here, you’ll find the Crystal Spine Matriarch, a purple/pink basilisk creature. Defeat her for a Pristine Crystal Shard. Return your shard to your quest-giver, and you’ll be rewarded with the S.E.L.F.I.E. Lens Upgrade Kit. This upgrade offers three additional filters for you to play around with.
You do not need to upgrade your S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera to complete the achievement.
